I write a magazine column and I'm thinking about taking the BA 124/125 flights between LHR and DOH to do a story. I understand that it makes a stop for about 90 minutes at BAH.

If anyone has taken these flights, do you have to get off the plane and go through passport control, etc. and then re-board, or do you stay on the plane? One problem that I have is that if you have to get off the plane and go through passport control, is that I have many Israeli visa entry/exit stamps in my American passport. There is no problem I am told (from the Qatar Embassy in Washington, DC) with me going to Qatar, but I am not sure about Bahrain.
