Was wondering if the experts out there would give me some advice? I've done a search of the forums but haven't found anything I could confidently base my travel plans on as things would go horribly wrong if I made the wrong assumptions! I did ask SQ on the phone but was told I would have to check with the check-in staff at CGK directly!

I'm planning to fly to LHR from CGK via SIN, with an almost 4 hour transit sandwiched in between. I'm planning to have most of my other luggage kept in SIN beforehand (landside). Is it possible to request the check-in agent at CGK to have my luggage appear at SIN, so I can repack on arrival at SIN and check in all of my luggage at SIN to LHR?

If that is possible, would the check-in agent at CGK be able to issue me my SIN-LHR BP? or would I have to wait until I check in my final collection of stuff at SIN?
