Does anyone know if it is possible to perform check-in for a GRU-ATL flight at the DL Lounge there, or at the gate (as I don't have a valid Brazilian Visa)? I had no problems with my recent DL ---> LA airside connection, but that was for intra-S. America travel. I'm worried that trying to check in for a U.S.-Bound flight airside might be a whole different can of worms. I hope y'all may have some input on this matter, as the thread I created in the DL Forum dropped out of sight without response.
What about your luggages? Wouldn you need to collect them? Another problem is that LA and DL operate in different terminal in GRU, although there is an airside transit area. I would assume DL Crown Lounge would be able to al least call an agent to sort out your boarding pass.
