I've been a member since they began the original "pilot" program but have not received a new card for 2008. I called WTHECARD and the lady told me the computer had no info regarding my status, whether or not I was being sent a new card or not.

I find that a bit hard to believe- I mean, she can't see if I have been renewed? I know the card goes through the end of February so I can still log in to the site, but am starting to wonder if they dropped me as I haven't received an email confirmation like last year OR a card in the mail.

What makes it odd to me is that I stayed more nights at W hotels this year than any other, even paying higher rates to stay at W when I could've stayed at Westin or Sheraton. I'm a bit miffed that they didn't "invite" me back, since I purposefully stayed with W when I normally wouldn't have, but who knows what the criterea is? I guess I just won't get my Bliss lip balm or Voss water anymore.
