Never been to Mendoza, or for that matter Argentina, yet - so I can't say. Just wanted to reply to close the loop since you asked.
(That was a great Do, wasn't it? I don't know if you remember
SanDiego1K and her husband from then, but I had dinner with them at a smaller FT get-together in, of all places, Santiago a while later. Went back to the same restaurant, Aqui Esta Coco, about a year ago. It's still pretty good.)
