My guess is there are not six award seats available on the flight, or perhaps any flight. A friend ran into this years ago when trying to get 5 FC seats to Europe. After a lot of letters and *****ing, someone finally told him they never have more than 4 on that flight (other than last minute).

I'd divide your party in 4-2 or 3-3.
