Nowadays I would go for less and enjoy it more, but when I remember what I did when i was 20+, Osaka would be fun. IIRC there's the bullet train down to Kyoto, yep I remember how it's done, i could still do it , I think, the only reservation i would have is you obviously have done Japan, and if you haven't seen SIN, now there's a place you would love. It is like Bangkok that's been scrubbed and cleaned, disinfected then cut and polished. Being a regular SIN traveller, it is so easy to go down the escalators to the MRT, buy a ticket and before you know it you are in Town hall station, go upstair and explore or move onto Orchard for shopping or down to Sentosa Island to walk along the beach, out to Little India to be dazzled by the colours. Having written all this, I too would go to Singapore, I have never been on one of the free transit tours only because I hate being told what I can do or can't and I imagine they would want to control me. Have a happy honeymoon, just make sure you don't overdo the ending and miss that direct flight from NRT, there's a lot to be said for spending that night there, but it's more fun i know living it on the edge, regards bkkrop
