I've put the book on hiatus - I'm through the Italy section and pretty much stopped there.
I'm not finding that I have a lot of empathy for the author's situation before embarking on her travels. I'm about the same age as the author, and I just can't get myself into a position of feeling that sorry for her in order to get intrigued by her journey of self-discovery. That's unfavorably coloring the book for me so far.
"Eat Pray Loathe" -- yep, I get that.
