Visa not required if:
- continuing within 24 hours to a third country by
same/first connecting aircraft; and
- holding confirmed ticket; and
- holding documents required for onward journey.
Leaving the airport transit area is allowed.
Overnight facilities are available outside the airport.

If staying more than 24 hours a transit visa can be issued
upon arrival at Dalian airport for stay of max. 7 days.
Fee: if holding photo USD 11.-;
if not holding photo USD 14.-.
It is highly recommended to obtain visa prior to arrival.

However, and only applicable if arriving at and departing from
Shanghai Hongqiao or Pu Dong airports:
Visa not required if continuing to a third country wihtin 48
hours and holding:
- confirmed onward ticket; and
- all documents required for next destination.

Non-compliance with entry regulations will result in
deportation of passenger by same or returning aircraft.
Fines for the transporting carrier varying between CNY 500.-
and CNY 2,000.- will be levied for each passenger with an
additional fine varying between CNY 5,000.- and CNY 10,000.-.

UNITED KINGDOM (GREAT BRITAIN)


Passport (must be valid for the period of intended stay)
required.

Visa not required.

U.K. Immigration officers will decide on period of stay to
a max. of 6 months, depending on reason for travel. Stays
exceeding 6 months will require a visa (Entry Clearance).

Minors:
children registered in parent's or guardian's passport:
- may not travel without holder of passport; and
- visa in passport (if required) must indicate that it is
also valid for the child(ren).

Flights from/to United Kingdom to/from Channel Islands,
Ireland (Rep. of) and the Isle of Man are domestic flights.
Therefore, there is no Immigration control.

Non-compliance with entry requirements(incl. forged documents)
will result in fines for carrier of GBP 2,000.- per visitor
and either deportation or indefinite delay for visitor at
point of entry (detention costs at carrier's expense).

A person may be considered committing an offence upon arrival
in the United Kingdom, if failing to produce to an Immigration
Officer a document, which satisfactorily establishes identity,
nationality, or citizenship. A person guilty of this offence
may be liable to up to 2 years in prison, or a fine, or both.

NZ will want proof of your onward ticket. If you have a paper ticket just show them that. If you have an e-ticket then call Air NZ and ask for an information note to be added to your PNR that you are connected to VS (with the details of that flight & booking reference).
