You hear that Mr. Anderson?... That is the sound of inevitability...

I'll certainly be burning more miles in the near future, than banking them. My original goal this year was to top my account out at 1 million miles, but that just seems foolish at this point. I'll fly enough to keep plat status (already booked), but flying the levels I did last year (160k eqm) is quite doubtful.

Hopefully the Worldperks program will be integrated into Skymiles in a good way. The three most important things for me are Customer Service, upgrades and ability to use my miles. Take away substantially from any of these, and I may jump ship.

I've been extremely loyal to NWA through the last few years, through the strikes and last years Summer of Love. When everyone was saying to cancel all tickets and book on another airline, I stuck with NWA. Through bankruptcy, pissed off employees and much more. Since I supported NWA loyally, I expect the same in return.

I think Anderson is a smart guy, and hopefully they will integrate the programs and have a better airline overall, and not just an imitation of US Air.

Personally, I don't care about segments, since I never qualify for them. I do understand that a lot of people do short hops and may need them. Hopefully everyone will be taken care of.

Otherwise, I'll have to come up with more Matrix quotes that aren't quite so nice.
