I wonder how many high-flyers will go to UA or AA once this merger occurs? I fly over 200k a year and can tell you that I will be gone if the Delta program remains as is. They have one of the worst in the industry IMO and I just cannot imagine them retaining many of NWA's heavy fliers if the merger goes through.
It's all very disappointing. I sure know how to pick em' - I went through this crap with TWA and hated American so I started flying NWA. I don't know what I'll do now for travel in the US but it sure as heck won't be on Delta.
