Any BWI flyers out there that have suggestions? Will DL or CO match Plat? Note: most of my travel is paid FC if that matters. Basically, I'm wondering would it be better to be primary DL with CO as secondary or primary CO with DL as secondary. Or is there another option I haven't considered?
I know this goes beyond the subject, but it does let you know how I feel about things now.
If you're in Paid F, your best bet is CO. CO has the superior domestic F product. I wouldn't even bother wasting your time on a status match. CO treats its Paid F customers pretty well, and they reward your elite-mileage bank for paid F tickets. You'll be elite in no time.
My own reaction: I just dumped all my remaining miles on an F award to Europe (which took two phone calls, two agents, a supervisor, and two phone calls to Lufthansa). I'll be sitting in the First Class Terminal in Frankfurt, raising a glass of single malt to Doug (sorry dude, I don't drink Bud like you do), and thanking him for the memories.
