Delta's GIDS are nice... but they change too quickly... and you have to wait forever until the info you want comes back up again. I experienced this in ATL when waiting for my flight to DFW (as I wanted to see where I fell on the list). Took a good 2 minutes before the info came back up.
I think United's easyInfo screens are pretty good at the moment. Those of you who see our "Ghetto Air" Visitron board screwed on over the turned-off easyInfo screen at Gate 78 in the United terminal should agree

Although, I am at the forefront of trying to get it back on and removing the board. Today a tool in doing that should have been released to all UAX agents (I'll have to call to make sure). United isn't really forthcoming in getting us the information we need, so I'm actually having to learn through trial and error.
Anyways, back to the subject at hand, there is room for improvement with the boards. The information there is actually quite useful. I would vote for a list of
cleared standbys only, that would help somewhat in working the boarding process.
