Call me old fashioned, but my understanding was that since the Beginning of Time, "Flagship" was used to denote three-class transcon (AFS) and three-class international (IFS) flights. However, according to this article/press release from AA, "Flagship" is now being used to describe NGBC -- thus any 763 or 777 flight.
Is AA polluting the "Flagship" branding too much, and confusing consumers in the process? I'm starting to think so.
