I consider myself "sane" and I think this would be a great routing that I would take even if I were on an award....I actually enjoy flying and seeing new places even if it's only from the airplane window or the airport terminal...Halifax and other cities not known for connecting traffic would be great stops during the journey, which after all, is half the fun!
