Great! Tell them that the club flights (without any additional payment, naturally) will be perfectly acceptable.
I will go back for another try though as they suggested that I keep checking to see if there was space on the gatwick flight in ecomony
I'm trying to think of a polite way in which you could tell BA where they can stick that suggestion, but I'm struggling.
