7500 pts/miles? All Citi cards are churnable. You could have just applied for a new card and received 20K to 25K AA miles (depending on the card)--see www.citi.com. Why the hesitation to do that? In fact, you can STILL do it. Then, after you get your miles on your new card call and cancel the old one. Very simple & almost no effect on your credit rating (5 points maybe).
