SamDFW--IMHO, you are a negotiating genius! ^

The most I have even been able to get is 5K miles to pay the annual fee (so I usually just cancel). But 7.5K makes renewal look a lot better.

Only problem--I'm jealous.

By the way, I don't put too much in the way of charges on my AA card(s), maybe 5-10K each account in a year.
