I'm glad you responded. Thanks.

I'll expand on my original post that states the FA was nice about it. In NO WAY did I challenge his authority. I did, hoevwer, question the statement. He was nice enough to bring the actual manual that stated my mouse was unacceptable. I didn't feel unfairly targeted in any way. He was right and I was wrong...As far as the manual is concerned.

It's not the FA that would prevent me from flying AC again, it the rule itself. I liked AC's service, I liked how he handled it, but there's NO WAY I can travel long distances and not get work done. Just a reminder, the program I work in does not support work without a mouse.

I've never been asked, on any airline, EVER. EVER. Lot's of miles. That means either AC or TranpoCan is the problem. Either way, a problem.

Unfortunately, that takes time. The easy way is to avoid AC in the future. Sad but true. I liked the service, seat, and especially the crew. I'm not admonishing the crew for doing their job, but the rule is really outrageous. If you have had experience in the past where a pax had issues, take note and bring it to your super. If enough problems arise, perhaps the rule will be changed by your volition.

You know, AC also lost my bag. I haven't even said a word about it since it's so inconsequential to my needs. Hopefully that might add a bit of importance to the mouse issue.
