Not eligible fare for "premier " seating?
Having my normal abysmal time trying to price an itinerary BNE-IND on ual.com. I have to jump through hoops to persuade it to actually give me an itinerary that uses United, and even then most of the time I get "can't price this itinerary".
But that's not the point of this post. I have managed to price a couple of itineraries: one at A$2533 and another A$2886. Both use the same SYD-SFO flight. Yet if I go to the seat map, for the cheaper fare I'm not given the option of any of the "premier" green seats.
So is this a definite indication of one of those fares not elgible for premium seating or just one of the seatmaps many quirks? The fare basis is VHAU204.
