True - I have a corporate Amex and I was curious to see whether that would have any effect on my credit rating (answer = no). The HSBC card is a personal card - the deal we have through work is that we automatically get HSBC Premier status (usually requires $500K of funds with HSBC or other similar criteria) which comes with automatic credit card and other privileges - quite handy. And I'm STILL waiting for my social security number...
