Didn't recognize your status? Wow. I have to say, the Marriott Riverwalk totally blew me away. They welcomed me as a Gold member, and the desk agent even invited the manager over to welcome us. I was taken by surprise. I'm sorry your experience was the total opposite.

I agree with FlaAnnie on the Riverwalk, just spend 4 nights there and the room was noisy. And they didn't seem to recognize status or even adhere to the requests in my profiles, i.e. room on a high floor. So fairly underwhelmed.
