Hmmm.... sounds like a re-flagging may be in this hotel's future!
But how many chains are going to continue to have smoking rooms? Westin has proven itself to be a trend-setter. Back in 1999, they introduced the Heavenly Bed and all these years later, other chains are still scrambling to catch up with their own style of "enhanced" bedding. And Westin was the first (? -- or at least one of the first) to announce its new non-smoking policy. My crystal ball sees a "me-too" effect over the next several years. (OK, OK, I don't REALLY have a crystal ball....

)
An aside: as for the Four Points, I'm with another poster or two in this thread: I have never (yet) stayed in a bad Four Points. In fact, some of them are quite nice! (Of course, part of the trick is knowing which hotels to avoid. I consult FlyerTalk, TripAdvisor, and other sources when making lodging decisions. @:-) )
