ESCPECIALLY since the ban applies to corded mice as well. As another poster mentioned, it might allow a small amount of leakage. However, surely today's modern aircraft can cope with some of this or else we'd all be getting on planes naked and empty-handed. I can't imagine a corded mouse would cause any more problems than someone plugging in a legal USB device into the ports PROVIDED BY THE AIRLINE!

also, what about those people that forget/don't know how to turn off their 802.11g wireless cards in their notebooks, those are far more powerful than a wired mouse. lol.
