Unfortunately, UAL sticks a reminder on the main screens of flights on 3-class planes that says **NO DBL UPGRADE** When employees are reminded like this, they will not bypass the rules. It's too bad United doesn't empower its employees more in this department. I would rather see 1Ks in the Suites than myself, personally.
