I had to take the red-eye from SFO to ORD Sunday night. They substituted the Airbus for a 747 and I was fortunate enough to be in F (BTW, talk about employee class - there were 13 seats taken and I was the only rev sitting there - they were downgrading people at the gate to C so they could make sure the SA's received the First Suites).
Jokingly I made a comment to the purser if there was food on the flight. He said that there was a "snack". At 2 a.m., the snack was brought out - a yummie deli sandwich on a nice heated bun. To top it off, WARM Mrs. Field's cookies. Not bad for the middle of the night.
