it's my 1 year anniversary with my citi aa card. i spent nearly $90k and paid on time each month.

while i could certainly cancel the card and get a new card, is there any way to get the fee waived ($85) or to get bonus miles out of my existing card?

has anyone been successful? what steps did you take?
