If you want to take it up a notch, there is a Melting Pot fondue resto up in Larkspur. You can take the ferry up there and walk over to the resto. While Melting Pot is a chain, I actally prefer it over Matterhorn.

Also, with regards to AQUA, I went there for a work dinner and I don't touch seafood. I found them to be very unaccommodating to me and quite frankly, the waiter was rude to me.

How could I forget Chez Spencer!?!? This is one of the most romantic restaurants in San Francisco. The food is great but incredibly fatty.
