Mywife and I are flying several economy flights on Singapore Air in May and June. They were booked using United FF miles. I called Singapore Air and was told that I cannot arrange seats until 48 hours before the flights. I have sevarl questions.

1. Is there a way I can arrange seats ahead of time? I'm large and need an aisle seat especially for long haul flights.

2. If I have to wait 48 hours, is this 48 hours from the first flight or 48 hours from each flight individually?

3. Any tricks to ensuring aisle seats?
