Agree with NWA. For int'l, I think I'd rather fly out of MKE with one-stop in DTW/MSP than get into Chicago traffic, find distant parking at ORD, and deal with the hassles of ORD - even if the payoff is a nonstop from there.
Don't get me wrong: I loved living in Chicago with ORD a short train ride away - it's great having both a *A and OW hub there, because it means there's always plenty of choices and usually plenty of competition. But with a car involved, I think I would have felt differently.
