Bangkok Taxi Hustle

A quick follow up, now that I have returned to Japan. Arrived
Thursday, Jan 31 at 11 p.m. and for the first time went to the
public taxi stand. Usually I used he fourth floor venue but many
posters now discourage that. The girl at the counter wrote me
up for a flat rate of 450 bath to the IC. I told her that I wanted
meter. She said "fine, your choice" and crossed out the flat rate
on the piece of paper marking it as "meter".
