Apologies if the question has been asked before, but the search functionality is down and besides, credit card deals seem to change quite quickly.

I've recently moved to the US but I plan to retain Aeroplan as my primary FFP. What is the best USD credit card for earning Aeroplan points? Is there an Aeroplan branded card for US residents or am I better off with one of the generic cards that lets you convert points to a number of different FFPs?

Any advice hugely appreciated
