1) Both BNA and RDU got shafted so bad by AA that anything UA does there pales in comparison.
2) The whole RJ phenom is industry wide. CO, DL, and AA are all pushing the envelope with these things. For UA to not do the same would be irresponsible.
3) As a primarily long haul UA customer (transcon, trans-Atlantic) I would prefer to see them focus on the bigger routes as they search for profits.
