Also what is the recommended way to get to the hotel from the airport (GRU)? My flight lands at 20:35 and I have to take another flight at 20:05 the next day.
I stayed there for a week in early January. They allowed us a very early checkin at 7am for no charge; the gym is large and well-equiped; however the standard rooms are a bit small.

Our rate did not include the breakfast buffet. We popped in for some fruit and coffee one morning and paid something like R$100 for two. Didn't make that mistake again. Just outside the hotel there is a Fran`s Cafe where you could have the same breakfast for R$6 each. Also the bottled water in the room is a steep R$18 for 500ml - buy your own outside!
