Sometimes if you are reallt good friends with a GA they will tell you. I had a good relationship with a GA in Austin and she told me that I was a CO*. Also, one day I was running late and she got on the radio and told the gate that "one of our CO*'s is on the way". I may have lost that designation by now because I don't know how often they update it.
