The double beds in the standard rooms appear to be decent size in the pictures I've found on the web, but its hard to really get any "scale" from the pictures. My past experience in Asia has been that often beds listed as doubles can be tiny "Hollywood" twins which can not sleep 2. I have also been pleasantly surprised to find what seemed like queen beds in Standard rooms listing the beds as "single" beds on spg.com.

In this case, the Hua Hin and BKK properties list the beds as "doubles" and "singles" respectively.

Could anyone comment on the bed size in the standard double rooms at either of these properties?
