95% of all metered taxi from the airport (Only Don Muang, as I haven't been to the new one yet), will try to say "flat rate, 200 baht", when it's a 100 baht fare. It doesn't matter if you get the taxi from the line, or upstairs leaving someone off.
I laugh at their cunning, and tell them "meter". Never had it fail.
