There are a variety of reasons why one might want to do this, not all connected with the opportunity to earn another 120 points !
You could (and as a FTer should ) book this as 2 separate flights, even on the same PNR and ticket, e.g.:

1. BA 2157 LGW-ANU
2. BA 2157 ANU-UVF
3. BA 2256 UVF-ANU
4. BA 2256 ANU-LGW

You will also then be receiving mileage for each sector (~4081+241=4322mi) vs. ~4226 mi for the "direct" flight.

However, doing so may attract additional airport taxes/fees/surcharges.
