I see a couple of main problems:
- There is a time lag of more than twelve hours where a post isn't searchable. For most FTers this is inconvenient, for moderators attempting to do their jobs, it can make it next to impossible.
- There is very little communication as to what is being done and what the timetable is to remedy specific deficiencies in the search, or even to acknowledge they exist.
