It is not unheard of to have a Purser working up rather than a CSD, but obviously it is the exception to the rule. As for madam up stairs, a letter with the flight details and her name should be sent via CR. The only way BA can track issues on flights without CSDs and of this particular employee is if you provide the feedback. It seems a little extreme though for some posters to write of all BA crew on the basis of this one person. VS also have a few loose cannons, but it would not be fair to measure BA or VS based on the idiots.
