Complain to BA and name the member of staff. However, I would have spoken to the "in charge" to inform them of your complaint and of your proposed action. It is only fair to do so. If they can put it right; great. If not; you can name and shame to BA direct will all the details to hand and defend yourself that you spoke to the person in charge of the flight crew. Something may come of it or nothing.

Personally, I have never come across a rude BA crew member. Indifferent maybe but I can put up with with that especially in CW.

No sure what the comparison to VS is about? If it is about the experience of the crew; I would agree. However, I have found VS crew to be eager, fresh-faced or a bit scatty or not very sharp but again, never rude in UC.

I tend to wander to the galley whenever I need something to stretch my feet and I am more than happy to help myself; which is why I like the bar on VS or Club Kitchen in CW.
