Almost definitely not CO due to the 50% for all discount tickets. In terms of international award availability (probably Australia/NZ, Asia, or South America in the next couple of years), which is better, DL or NW? I'd prefer to get enough miles for business class, but coach is not the end of the world. I've also heard DL is devaluing their program fairly aggressively. Should I keep this in mind at all?

I would say look at where you would fly the most. If you're flying on CO and book through their website,you still get 100% EQM even on the cheap classes.
The caveat is that there is talk of a DL-NW & UA-CO merger. Don't quite know how that will affect you but just food for thought
