Two weeks ago I converted an unused round trip, non-refundable, no-change-fee Shuttle e-ticket for Mrs. Nevada1K to a printed ticket as it was approaching the 12 month point from date of issue. The CTO agent advised me that, as there was no change fee involved, the full dollar value of that ticket was good indefinately.

If the reports of the 1 year expiration policy are accure, this IS an unwelcome change in policy for fully unused tickets.
