Just look for the Star Alliance Gold sign outside the lounge and present the ticket for your same-day Star Alliance flight, your boarding pass and your frequent flyer programme card featuring the Star Alliance Gold logo.
This is news to me, for I assumed that I had to use the lounge of the airline on which I am flying that day.
Assuming I'm interpreting the above quote correctly, which lounges at PHL and CDG should I check out?
Definitely use the A West lounge in PHL if you can. It's only a departures lounge and is really quite nice.
I've used the lounge in CDG a number of times. It's not a US Airways lounge though. When you check in just ask them where the lounge is that US uses. They'll point you in the right direction. It's nothing terribly special and can get crowded but is decent, nonetheless.
