In the fall of 2006 I was able to access the VIP lounge in Madrid by flashing my AC and Plat cards with my Business Class boarding ticket each time I stopped there. I was surprised when I tried to do the same thing in Oct of 2007 and was denied access. Maybe I just got lucky the year before but my experience overseas has been hit or miss.
