Does anyone have a link that would clue me in to how/when these planes get maintenance and what the typical incidence of mechanical issues/delays is?
Buy American!!! Why any US airline would support that government subsidized mess is beyond me! I have always thought they should impose tariffs on them because of the government subsidies, but I guess that isn't possible with mobile airplanes. My 2nd to last mechanical delay was on an A319 that had Frozen lavatories. These planes fly where it is -60f....Chicago is cold, but it is not that cold. My complain about Airbus 319/320's is that the cabins are always so hot. I can bake pies underneath my seat on most flights.
