I used to be a pilot for United Express and later got hired by United, which is just as difficult as working for American Eagle and getting hired by United, but half my friends were surprised, because they thought I already worked for United. Being at SkyWest (where I wasn't) doesn't get you any preferential treatment for an interview at United.
NOW I understand. You see, you know that I am "an experienced FT poster" and can find in my profile just about everything there is to know about
me. FTers know where I'm coming from.
But now I learn that you either are or were a pilot for UA. Context changes dramatically. The dis-connect between yourself and UAX is probably equalled by the connection (intentionally done by UA) between UA & UAX for customers.
I don't recall your other posts, and perhaps I'm the only person who doesn't realize you're a present or former UA Pilot. But why not put it in your profile or sig? Putting things in perspective can only help people understand what goes on in the crazy world in which you make a living.
Thanks for providing info from the other side, by the way! ^
