I think it is Shareholder who does this quite a bit.

This being said, you need to be careful about the "changing" part. Most UA employees have no idea how to do it correctly. There are two fields in the UA computers - one for the status/program to be shown on the BP and one for the status/program to be earned on. They usually change only the first.

So you end up with a BP that says "AC*G" or whatever, and the miles still go to MP.
