I don't understand all the sympathetic replies to the OP. He engaged in 'sleazy' entertainment and expected to pay bargain prices? Who do you think pays for all those Russian ladies at these establishments? The bar owners is running a business , not a charity. You want sleaze, pay $2000 for it. I think it would be immoral to dispute this charge . Sure, you should bargain with the bar owner, but the naive expectations of the OP and others amaze me. They think they can freely engage in sleazy activities with impunity?

Why don't I dispute a $2000 hotel room at a 5-star hotel then I can be booked for $200 online? Or how about disputing a $5000 last minute plane ticket that generally costs a fraction of that price?

I am surprised nobody has replied with this angle to the story. Sorry if I sound harsh, but if you don't agree with me, then just be prepared to be 'scammed' all your life as that is the way of the world..
