I have NC10s and they are great but they do not let me sleep with my head sideways. To do so, the headphones would have to be inserted in my ears like earplugs (so far so good, that is how the NC10s work), but could not very well have things sticking out (as the NC10s have little microphones and a wire coming out of the earpiece).

So I yet to see anything like my fantasy noise canceling earphones, which would be wireless and self-contained like some hearing aids are.

Any inventors out there?
